The 8th International Gerber-Shiu Workshop

New Trends in Data Science for Insurance and Finance
In honor of the retirement of Professor José Garrido, first organizer of the Gerber-Shiu Conceference in 2006 at Concordia University
Fin-ML will host the 8th International Gerber-Shiu Workshop on 3-4 July 2020 prior to the 24th International Congress on Insurance: Mathematics and Economics (IME 2020) held in the University of Quebec in Montréal (UQAM), 6-8 July 2020.
The themes of the workshop are risk theory, data science and related problems.
Program
The main conference will take place at Concordia University:

From 8:45AM to 5:15PM on Day 1 and 9:00AM to 2:00PM on Day 2
We will also be hosting various networking events on both days, at various locations.

Call for Abstracts
The abstract submission deadline is May 1, 2020.
Notifications of acceptance into the conference program will start to be communicated on May 15, 2020.
If accepted into the conference program, all presenters must register to attend the conference.
